Electron Microscopy Sciences Double End Flat Embedding Mold with Cocoon Box
No more stickiness with new storage boxes. Most resins are no longer a challenge to flat embed when used in combination with the Cocoon box. The system withstands temperatures up to 70 Degrees C, and our flat embedding of many resins is made easier.
Electron Microscopy Sciences Flat Embedding Mold Small Flat Embedding Mold, 4 mm deep, 10 x 6 mm
A clear silicone rubber with very high tear strength. It can be reused more times than the conventional silicone molds. It is resistant to most epoxy resins and its clear base allows positioning of the specimen lighted from beneath. This mold produces 12 embedding blocks with tapered ends.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Thompson Monolayer Embedding Mold
This mold used for embedding mammalian cells in monolayer culture in preparation of sectioning for light or electron microscopy. Tissue culture monolayer embedding molds eliminate the need for traditional BEEM capsules. The improved molds can be used to transfer the majority of cells from the entire surface of a cover slip to avoid losses of large amounts of cellular information occurring only randomly. In addition, other problems such as surface blemishes caused by air entrapment associated with BEEM capsules are eliminated.
Electron Microscopy Sciences EMS Molded Flat Embedding Mold
Molds are injected molded polyethylene that is resistant to most embedding materials and will easily peeled-off the blocks. Mold fits perfectly inside the cocoon box BE8 (64300-8). These molds are reusable. Each cavity measures 12mm(L) x 5mm(W) x 3.5mm Deep. Overall mold measures: 94 x 56 x 14mm.

Each tray contains 2x10 block molds and measures 87x66 mm. Size: 5.6mm diameter corresponds to capsules size 3, and forms a block face of 1.6mm.
Newcomer Supply Embedding Tissue Tampers Combo, 1 - 10mm x 10mm & 1 - 16mm x 19mm
Newcomer Supply’s Tissue Embedding Tampers are unique tools for flattening tissue sections in an embedding mold with ease! The design allows for the end-user to either use a forceps or their fingers to easily control the tampers. The aluminum, one piece handle extends 24mm above the tamper base and comes with a vinyl cap to help remain cool to the touch. There is also an anodized colored surface on the tamper that makes it more durable and corrosion-resistant. The tampers comes in two different sizes to accommodate small, medium and large embedding molds: 10mm x 10mm base (orange) and 16mm x19mm base (green). A combo pack is also available including 1 of each size.

Electron Microscopy Sciences 25X32mm Rectangle Foam Pads, 1000/pk
A cellular polyester blue foam that has uniform air pockets throughout the pad for optimal fluid flow. It prevents either small or fragmented tissue specimens from being lost. To use simple place small samples or specimen fragments between the two pads and place the specimen in a cassette or capsule.
